The Chicago Bulls will host the Atlanta Hawks, and this will be one of the very few occasions in which Chicago will be favorites to win during this season.
The Bulls (0-3, 0-1 home) are in full rebuild mode after trading Jimmy Butler in the off season, while also letting go of guys like Wade or Rondo. Chicago is hands down one of the worst teams in the league and indeed they didn`t surpass the expectations so far, losing all three matches – although they did show competitiveness in stretches during games, and Finnish rookie Markkanen has proved to be a very solid addition.
Atlanta (1-3, 1-3 away) is also rebuilding after they lost Millsap and Howard in the Summer, handing over the keys of the team to their German point guard Schroeder. Unfortunately for the Hawks, Schroeder will be unavailable for this game and that will be a big plow, particularly as the Hawks have other injuries as well. Atlanta lost 3 games in a row after opening the season with a win in Dallas.
Bet on CHI Bulls vs ATL Hawks and get your 100% (100 Eur) bonus at Ohmbet now!Team news: Chicago misses Lavine, Mirotic, Payne, Portis and possibly Dunn. Atlanta will miss Schroeder, along with Plumlee and Bembry. Ilyasova and Belinelli are questionable, Belinelli having a good chance to play.
Both sides will view this game as one of the few they can win this season, so I expect a lot of intensity on the defensive end. Also not many players on either team can score the basketball, so I am looking at the under as a good bet to take in this game.
The Bulls are 24th in offensive pace and are averaging 96.3 points per game. Atlanta (101.3 PPG) is 5th in offensive pace, but that was with the dynamic Schroeder leading the show.
The Hawks will lose a lot of their offensive power without Schroeder, their made scorer, penetrator and distributor. In their last game against the Heat, the first time when Schroeder was not on the floor, Atlanta was only able to score 93 points despite shooting great percentages (47.5% FG, 41% from three). The offense just doesn`t have the same speed and flow without him.
When you add the potential absences of Ilyasova and Belinelli, Atlanta’s best 3 point gunners (at least one of them should be out), it`s fair to expect the Hawks to struggle a bit offensively in this match.
As for the Bulls, they really don`t have anybody who can score the basketball consistently aside for Markkanen, as they miss great offensive weapons themselves (LaVine, Mirotic).
Look for a rather slow tempo and expect both sides to be be pumped up to win the game, and show defensive intensity. My tip is under 202,5 points to be scored, as I think the points total should be set a little lower. Prediction: Chicago Bulls – Atlanta Hawks 99 – 93.

Whi didn t you bet on memphis to cover with dallas.they play at home now
I thought about it. I was a bit scared of the spread but I think it`s a good bet. I took the straight win at 1.35.
Last night i took memphis to cover with 500 EUR. I was so sure they will cover.Dallas blow them out.sometimes these matches makes no sense
ouch, sorry about that mate. was pretty confident myself, two nights ago was crazy in the entire NBA, not just Mavs – Memphis
I guess that’s why they call it NBA when amazing happens, mags rallied out of nowhere to comeback from 22 down to take lead as Grizzlies were choking like hell down the stretch, Macy’s somewhat of a bogey team for Grizzlies just couldn’t deal with somehow I took $1.35 as well and almost shit my pants down the stretch
When I tipped Memphis two days ago I said that the Mavs don`t match up well against the Grizzlies despite winning 5 of the last 7. I said they are a different team and don`t have the same rim protection ability but maybe I was wrong, maybe they still have Grizzlies’ number.
But Memphis is also not the best team at covering large spreads, that`s why I didn`t take the spread last night. And Dallas is improving, got most of their guys back from injury, they are not such a bad team when at full strength.
