Cordoba – Sevilla

Cordoba hosts on fire FC Sevilla. Despite having no wins in 3 rounds Cordoba will probably be satisfied with a draw, but Sevilla comes at Estadio Nuevo Arcangel to win.

Even if Cordoba has only 2 points in 3 matches the newly promoted team was not too disappointing … lost 2-0 at Bernabeu in opening day, decent result, than got 1-1 draws vs. Celta Vigo and Almeria. Sevilla is in top form with 3 consecutive wins including 2-0 vs. Feyenoord in Europa League on Thursday. The visitors started this season with great intensity and they can hope to get a place in Champions League if they keep up the same football for the rest of the season. For sure they can’t afford to lose points vs. Cordoba if they want to challenge that objective. Sevilla will miss from the lineup Gameiro, Beto and Arribas. Trochowski, Moises and Iborra will see late fitness tests.
