Denmark takes on team USA in Aarhus, with Jurgen Klinsmann expected to heavily rotate his squad in this International Friendly.
The hosts will not play Euro 2016 qualifying matches this weekend, but despite this the manager has called up his best players for this friendly and will also use them. Eriksen, Schemichel, Kjaer, Okore, Krohn-Dehli and so on will all be present, most of them from the first minute according to team news reports. Denmark`s last match last year was a disappointing 2-0 defeat in Romania, but overall the hosts are looking good right now – they are first in the Euro qualifying group, beating the likes of Armenia and Serbia, barely losing to Portugal.
United States had a decent World Cup but were very disappointing in friendlies after that, losing 3 of the last 4. Jurgen Klinsmann is set to experiment today and he will rotate the squad big-time, giving youngsters a chance to compete. Most of the top players were not even called up (Cameron, Howard, Guzman, Besler, Gonzalez) and the ones who have been called up, some of them will start on the bench.

Denmark’s only notable absentee is Daniel Agger, while USA, as previously said, is without a large number of first team regulars. The lineups are hard to predict, though Denmark should not rest any players. Rosters below:

Denmark is not a great team by any means, but they are a good, balanced side which will in all likelyhood qualify for Euro 2016. At home they should be able to defeat this experimental USA side. Team USA still has some important names in the squad, it will not be exactly a B or C lineup, so and we can`t disrespect them too much – but 6-7 top players should be a difference maker at this level, especially when you play away from home.
Betting on football friendlies is not exactly my usual game, but the special circumstances here surely must be worth a shot. The odds on a Denmark win are great (will surely drop), so that is my tip, Denmark to win. Prediction: Denmark – USA 2-0.
