The Lakers (9-22, 5-11 away) continued their sinusoidal performances lately, alternating good games with poor ones, though lately it seems the poor performances are more often. Still, as I said many times this season, the Lakers are not as bad as their record suggests and they upset many top rated sides in this NBA season. They will have Kobe Bryant fit and rested for today after he was rested in 3 of the last 4 matches. He`s usually a beast against Denver, so he could be in for a good game.
Lakers did struggle against fast paced Western Conference teams like Denver, but I feel LA has a fighting chance here. Kobe is fit and ready, LA is due to put in a good performance anytime soon and Denver is playing bad recently. If the Lakers can put on a decent defensive effort, they should be able to push this to the limit and even win it. My tip is a simple Lakers win. I am not touching the spread, because LA can lose this by 20 as easily as they can win it by 10. Prediction: Denver Nuggets – Los Angeles Lakers 105-110.
