Pandurii has been surprisingly poor this season, they are just on the 14th place but seem to be improving lately, beating Craiova 3-0 and finishing 1-1 with a strong Targu Mures side in the last two matches. The visitors have one of the most offensive minded managers in Romania and when they are in form, their football is nice to watch – positive attitude, looking for direct passes, goals and wins (not draws).The visitors are expected to field a very offensive lineup today, 4 of the 6 players from the midfield up being natural forwards (let`s say 3, maybe the manager changes his mind).

Dinamo will get back key center back Cordos, which is a downside for the under, and is pretty healthy overall (DM Elton will miss). Pandurii should line up similar to how they did in the 1-1 draw against Targu Mures. Key center back Paraskevas will be out, midfielder Radut will probably only be on the bench.

As far as I`m concerned this match has a big chance to finish with over 2,5 goals. Dinamo could be involved in goal fests every round with the type of players they have but the coach is holding them back – this time, with Stoican saying a win is mandatory, I reckon he will take a little bit more risks. Expect Dinamo to control the match and create a lot of chances due to their attacking quality, while Pandurii will relish counterattacks against some very poor individual defenders – I can`t see Dinamo escaping with a clean sheet here. I expect a Dinamo win, but the over 2,5 goals bet is more likely to happen, so that is my tip here. Prediction: Dinamo Bucharest – Pandurii Targu Jiu 2-1.
