Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk hosts Club Brugge in this Europa League quarterfinal second leg, after the Ukrainians got a 0-0 result in Belgium last week.
Dnipro played a very good match in Belgium, confirming their excellent form. Today’s hosts matched Brugge in most aspects of the game … did not allow the Belgians to take control and fully deserved their draw. They even had more chances to score. Dnipro lost only one game this year … their sole defeat in 13 matches was in the reverse leg vs. Ajax, but even that ended with a qualification, so it was a sweet loss. Club Brugge won the big derby against Anderlecht on Sunday, 2-1.
