Huge game for FC Porto. One point behind Zenit in the standings, the portugese side has no choice but to defeat Austria Wien if they want to advance to the Champions League knockout stage from group G. Porto has no injuries or suspensions for this game and has the luxury to be able to start with the best possible first 11.

The last two games vs. Atletico they lost 4-0 and 3-0. Grunwald, Gorgon, Mader and Stankovic are unavailable for the visitors. They have big squad problems in midfield which will create serious matchup trouble for them vs. a classy opponent like FC Porto.

Things look in order for a clear Porto win. Porto is no doubt the better team bu far, they are in good form and they are highly motivated. The portugese team has a good defense, a good matchup with Wien’s pathetic attack. Porto also likes winning by big margins when the opportunity presents itself. Not lastly, the hosts have a full squad, as opposed to Wien, who misses 3 key midfielder – for this reasons it will be easier for Porto to dominate possession and create chances. I can see the home side keeping the ball, with Wien struggling to cope with them in the midfield battle. I see 2-0 as the worst case scenario, but 3-0 or 4-0 for FC Porto seem like more probable results.
