Cordoba had a couple of good moments in January but lately reverted to the bad form from the start of the season … not surprising, considering they don’t have the quality to play consistently in La Liga. Cordoba lost 3 matches in a row, last time 1-2 at home vs. Almeria. The good news is that Cordoba kept matches close, even vs. the likes of Real Madrid, but they don’t have the firepower to rebound if they concede a goal or two. Sevilla should really own this match … they are such a good team, are brilliant at home and in desperate need of points after the last two results. However Cordoba might not go down easy, they are in big need of points themselves (19th place) and have the ability to make it tough for anybody.
