Belgium champions K.A.A Gent will return to the Uefa Champions League after 15 long years, hosting French side Olympique Lyon in the opening match of Group H.

Lyon is in a very “easy” group. The other 2 teams are Valencia and Zenit. Valencia is not uber strong, they struggled big time in the Champions League playoffs with Monaco (who sold half the team) and Zenit is also a mess this season, struggling to respect the new policy on fielding a certain number of Russian players.
