Fiorentina has high expectations this season. The Viola side has splashed the cash and they brought in some top players in the transfer window. The visiting side is undefeated so far in Serie A, being tied with Inter for points (10). La Viola looked very sharp in front of goal so far, creating lots of chances and seemingly scoring at will. Fiorentina also achieved qualification to the Europa League group stages, where they cruised past Pacos Ferreira in the opener, 3-0.

No matter how impressive Inter were so far, the reality is they do not have the talent to challenge for the top spots this season and they will fade away sooner or later. Inter will find it hard to approach this game at home, if they go offensive they will be punished on counters, if they adopt a cautious tactic they could find themselves dominated. This is the first time this season when Inter plays a good team that is in good form and has no other distractions.
