Lazio is a very interesting team with a lot of offensive potential, good home support, big ambitions, stable financial situation. This season seems like a good one for them. The difference since last season, to me is that Lazio is much better in attack. In defense they are a bit more naive, but the attack fully compensates for this. Lazio welcome back star player Antonio Candreva but he might start on the bench because he is lacking match fitness and also because Brazilian Anderson made a great game vs Inter, scoring 2 times. Lazio have some injuries but also a very big squad.

Sampdoria are also enjoying a great season under Mihajlovic. They play “ugly” football sometimes but it gets things done. Their defense has been outstanding, but they have conceeded in the last 3 games, the most worrying being the 2-2 draw at home vs Udinese. Sampdoria have sold Gabbiaddini, star player, that will head for Napoli. He would have been suspended for this game anyway.
I think Lazio will struggle in this game. Sampdoria’s superior organisation will prove more than enough to get them a point. Gabbiaddini is a very important missing but i have to mention that in some games vs top opponents(Juve, Napoli) Mihajlovic has left Gabbiadini on the bench, prefering a more defensive line-up, so today vs Lazio i think Gabbiadini would not have started anyway.
