Legia Warszawa was really lucky to claim that 1-0 win in Slovakia and will look to finish the job at home, but this could be a tricky task against an unpredictable, talented, young and high scoring Trencin side.
Trencin can’t go all out attack from the first minute, but they know their power lies up front. The Slovakians are aware that if they score a goal, the complexity of this tie will change and that will be their aim. They should have really banged in a couple of goals last week and my guess is they will finally find the net in the reverse leg, but their shaky defense will also be exposed against Legia.
While it`s true that Legia will impose the rhythm and they are a rather pragmatic side, not particularly high scoring, they will not back down in front of open spaces – and they are set to see plenty of those against a team like Trencin.
Much depends on how long the 0-0 score will resist, but I can see both teams scoring here. A Legia goal would really open things up, but even if Trencin scores first they are definitely not the kind of team to hold on for a 1-0 advantage. With their style of play and shaky form, it would be a small miracle if they don`t concede one or two goals in Poland.
