West Ham United will travel to Leicester in hope of getting something out of the match as they are yet to secure Premier League safety, while the out of form Foxes will attempt to give their fans something to cheer for despite their lack of motivation.
With nothing left to fight for, Leicester City has played very poorly lately, claiming just one point in the last 4 rounds – despite having a pretty easy schedule. The Foxes know they can only finish between 8th and 11th this season, so this lack of motivation has clearly taken its toll. The team is also struggling with injuries and in the last round Leicester suffered a humiliating 0-5 defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace.
West Ham isn`t playing very well either, failing to win in the last 4 rounds and losing their last two outings with a 2-8 aggregate scoreline – although it must be said that the opposition was difficult (Arsenal and Man City). The Hammers are currently on the 15th place, 3 points above the relegation zone. They should be able to dodge the drop, but they do need to get some points in these last two rounds in order to be sure of it.

James, Ndidi, Albrighton, Schmeichel, Huth, Chilwell, Amartey, Simpson and Okazaki are all expected to be sidelined, while Iborra is also a slight doubt. With no motivation and nursing so many injuries, Leicester will have a hard time against a West Ham side which is in need of points, and which is guaranteed to put on a big effort at King Power Stadium.
While West Ham’s results have been rather poor lately and their defense have been atrocious, they did have difficult opponents.
