Breda – Groningen

First of all I want to apologize for my poor record on Betdistrict and for my disastrous record recently. Unfortunately I think the best option is to step down and retire, so today is my last day as an editor on betdistrict … but I hope to retire with a profitable day and some good picks for a change.

NAC Breda hosts Groningen in the last round of the Eredivisie regular season and this game means a little more for the hosts than for the visitors.

For today they continue to miss some players … Damcevski, Koch, Bezooijen, Falkenburg, and van der Weg are unavailable.

Groningen can only finish 8th or 9th … they missed on the European qualifying playoffs and are already looking at next season. Visitors lost 1-0 to Zwolle last round but are in good form overall … it was only the first loss in the last 8 games for them. However Groningen is having problems on the road (as always) … and won only 1 of the 8 games away from home in Eredivisie. Bakker is the only player unavailable for Groningen.

Even in a normal league game I think Breda has the strength to get points vs. Groningen, but this special situation today creates more value on the hosts … Breda is only entering the most important part of the season and does not want to do it with 3 consecutive defeats … while Groningen is already on vacation and is traditionally poor on the road.
