Chicago (38-40, 15-24 away) is involved in a grueling battle to finish Top 8 in the East and reach the playoffs. The Bulls are currently in a three way tie for the 7-9 spots with just 4 matches left to go and the battle could not get any tighter. Chicago’s quest to reach the playoffs certainly hasn`t been helped by their last performance, a 9 point loss to the Knicks two days ago – but overall the team is in good form, having won 4 in a row before Tuesday’s defeat.

Philadelphia misses its two best players, Simmons and Embiid. Starters Okafor and Covington are also out, as well as important role players Rodriguez and Bayless. Additionally, Philly’s best remaining player (and only good player), Saric, is playing hurt and is on a minute restriction. That is also the case with role player Thiago Splitter.
Chicago continues to miss Dwayne Wade, who has been out for months. Starting PG Rajon Rondo is questionable and it appears chances are he won`t play.
Philadelphia was never a very good team even with a full roster, but they were a dangerous, high energy side, especially at home. But with the current injury status, Philly is definitely not an NBA caliber team right now and that was obvious against the Nets two days ago – when they were simply blown out of their own gym by the team with the worst record in the NBA.
What’s more, Philadelphia has no reason to win these last few games, as they would benefit from losing in order to get a higher draft pick.
Chicago has played good basketball lately, despite that ugly loss to New York in their last game. The visitors desperately need a win here and they (players & coaches) vowed for improved focus and intensity after the defeat to the Knicks.
The Bulls lead the season series 2-1 against the Sixers, but Philadelphia won the last meeting just two weeks ago. However, that holds no relevance, as the Sixers were much healthier back then.
A motivated and in form Chicago side should definitely be able to take care of this decimated Philadelphia team and their D-league level roster which is now 7-8 players deep. The point spread is pretty accessible at just 6 points, as Chicago should really be able to take this by more than 10.
My tip is Chicago to cover the 6 point handicap. If they come in with the proper attitude and energy, as they really should, chances are this Philadelphia lot won`t have what it takes to make the game close. High stakes on the bet for me. Prediction: Philadelphia 76ers – Chicago Bulls 90 – 115.

Odds going up on Bulls because Rondo has been officially ruled out. I have no problem with that, I made the bet with the presumption that he will not play (as said in the pick).
However it is a little bit frustrating that I missed out on better odds / lower line (even if it`s just a 1 point difference). The value was already great but now it`s even better.
