🏈 Pittsburgh Steelers – Washington Football Team

The undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers will host the Washington Football Team on Monday Night Football in the NFL.

The Steelers (11-0, 6-0 home) are having a magnificent season so far, being the only undefeated team in football. They were always expected to be solid this year, but not quite like this. However, Pittsburgh had an off night last time out, struggling to defeat a Ravens team (19-14 win) which was missing star QB Lamar Jackson among with some other important players after a COVID outbreak. The Steelers had to play that game last Wednesday, so they will have a short turnaround.

Washington (4-7, 1-4 away) has won 3 of its last 5 games and is now in a good spot to make the playoffs from the woeful NFC East division, despite their record. But against whom did they win? Against the Cowboys twice and against the Bengals – these are two of the worst teams in the league. Meanwhile, during the same 5 game stretch, they lost against the Lions and the Giants – another two of the worst teams in the league.

1xbet odds

I’ve never been an NFL expert, but watched quite a lot of football this year after the NBA season ended, and I am confident enough to pick and bet on some games. This will be one of them, as I really like the potential.

There is a tentative feeling that Pittsburgh is due a loss and odds on them to win are definitely higher than you would expect. Their play recently hasn’t been quite as good as their record and given the short rest and the fact that they weren’t expected by anybody to be undefeated at this point in the season, people are feeling a possible upset – especially with Washington performing better recently.

However, I am betting on facts and not feelings, and there aren’t too many facts suggesting Pittsburgh should lose this game. There is no way in hell they should be priced above 1.25 – 1.30 to win this, and in fact they opened as 1.20 – 1.25 favorites before the public moved the line up.

Veteran QB Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers have been reliable and pragmatic this season, and even with a short turnaround they have the weapons and the coaching to take care of a Washington Team which has plenty of flaws and, while it has been ok lately, it had an incredibly easy schedule – so it’s fair to say they are a bit overrated coming into this.

The current odds are just high enough to allow me to take the straight win as a singles bet. If they are too low for you, adding the game in a combo or backing the Steelers to cover seem like decent choices as well, but with lower stakes. Maybe the -3,5 point spread at odds around 1.65. But all in all my recommended bet is the straight win. Prediction: Pittsburgh Steelers – Washington Football Team 27 – 17.
