Preston – Crewe

Preston looks to continue its excellent run of form against relegation battlers Crewe Alexandra today at Deepdale Stadium.

Preston is currently on 4th place and was on a fantastic run of 5 solid wins in League one before losing 2-0 at Peterborough and then getting beat by Oldham in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy. Still, Preston has to feel that they are still in a good spot, since Peterborough is one of the best and in-form teams in the league, while the Jonstone`s Paint Trophy is a totally different competition. The hosts have not lost at home so far and will be eager to keep their playoff hopes up with the visit of lowly Crewe Alexandra.

Crewe has had an abysmal start to the league and are sitting on the 21st place with just 6 points in 10 rounds. Preston will have to do without Hayhurst, Hume and Humprey who are all on international duty. King and Wright will also continue to miss out for the playoff contenders. Crewe will not be able to count on Pogba, Davis and probably Colclough.

Preston is set to return to winning ways after two defeats that did nothing to dent their confidence and overall form. The home side is playing very good tactically and have a great balance between defense and offense, a thing which should work well against the chaos which reigns in Crewe`s football at the moment. The visitors are so poor on the road and it`s hard to find any reason for which they could take points from this strong Preston side, except of course luck and hazard. I`m jumping on the 0,75 asian handicap with high stakes, I believe the hosts can secure a 2 goal win but I don`t want to be left empty handed in case it will be closer and Pinny has great odds for the -0,75.
