Eredivisie football this Friday with PSV Eindhoven taking on Heracles Almelo at home in the 24th round of the Dutch League. The bookies are predicting a win for PSV with odds around 1.30 – 1.35.
PSV is in rebuilding mode this year with a lot of youngsters and results are not so great. PSV on 6th place, no chance for a top 3 finish. After beating Cambuur on the road PSV got an impressive 3-2 win against Twente last round and the team seems to be at the top of their game. Hercales on 11th place, not much to play for towards the end of the season, they will finish mid-table. They play nice football scoring 33 goals but also conceding 38. Despite 7 points in 5 games after the winter break, Heracles played poorly this winter. They won against Wallwijk and Den Haag (two of the worst teams in Eredivisie), lost to Breda and Twente and in the last round they barely got a draw at home with Cambuur thanks to a 90 minute goal by right-back Wierik. Heracles without Quansah. Vujicevic is questionable.

PSV is not the team it used to be right now but they are still top 5 material and as the youngsters got experience they are playing better and better. PSV played really good in the last two rounds and if they keep the momentum they could win this, but still they are not to be trusted at the current odds especially since Heracles is a good side, even if they are a little off their game right now. Both teams are in insane scoring form so I will go for an over bet. PSV of course can bag 2 or 3 themselves at home, but Heracles is also strong offensively … especially away from home. With 5 wins, 1 draw and 5 losses they play relaxed and sharp on the road, looking to win and not parking the bus. Expect a goalfest and my tip is over 3,5 goals even if earlier this season it was only 1-1 with Heracles as hosts. I`m taking a calculated risk with 8 units stakes for a great return of investment.
