QPR will hope to recover after a sound 0-4 beating at the hands of Manchester United, but Stoke City won`t be easy opposition for Harry Redknap`s side in the Premier League fifth round.
I reckon it`s safe to say QPR has been the worst side in the league so far, despite sitting on the 16th place. QPR lost 3 out of 4 games, scored just once and conceded 9 times, and all their points came from a fluke 1-0 home win against Sunderland in a match they clearly did not deserve to win. Additionally, QPR has been knocked out from the Capital One Cup by Burton Albion, again failing to score (0-1). Redknapp`s team seems like a bunch of overpaid players with an old, bored manager right now so I am not impressed at all by this team and I am sure they will relegate at the end of the season. Nevertheless, they are still a Premier League side and they can`t be underestimated at home, especially since they are very hungry for points.
Stoke did not start the season too well either, gaining just 4 points thanks to an undeserved draw at Hull and a 1-0 win at Manchester City that probably won`t happen again anytime soon. Like QPR Stoke has a lot of trouble scoring (just 2 goals so far) and is coming after a bad result, a 0-1 home defeat to Leicester (though Leicester is showing some incredible potential at the moment). Stoke did however show much more potential than QPR in these first few rounds and proved they can play good football, but they need consistency.
Team news & lineups
Faurlin and Taarabt are out for QPR, while Barton and Mutch are question marks. Stoke won`t be able to count on Cameron and Odemwingie, while Arnautovic and Walters are doubts.
QPR: Green – Isla, Caulker, Ferdinand, Hill – Sandro – Hoilett, Kranjcar, Fer, Vargas – Austin.
Stoke City: Begovic – Bardsley, Shawcross. Wilson, Pieters – N’Zonzi, Whelan, Diouf, Ireland, Moses – Crouch.
Two defensive and out of form teams meeting eachother in an early afternoon clash, this match clearly screams under. However, I just can`t take this bet at odds of 1.50 and I will go with a pick I had in mind when first seeing the fixture list – Stoke to win with +0 asian handicap. I expect an evenly matched clash, but QPR does not seem able to score a goal against anyone, let alone beat somebody, and Stoke is a really good side which should be able to improve after the defeat to Leicester. A draw would give us the money back, but I have confidence Stoke will win this and we will win the bet. My tip is Stoke +0 asian handicap, the odds are just great and there`s a lot of value here, no way QPR can be considered even a small favorite. My judgement is we get a shot at doubling our money with a very low risk of losing the stakes. Prediction: QPR – Stoke 0-1.
Pick: Stoke City (+0 Asian Handicap)

You have guts to go for this match! Nice!
I agree with you, as logic, but is a match where ANYTHING can happen and I stay away myself from it.
Thx. I think the home win is really unlikely, we`ll see how it goes. I rate it about 25% – 40% – 35% in chances of winning.
Off-topic, congrats on the Sousa win mate. Man, the game killed my nerves, I`m usually calm about my betting but in this kind of form I really needed the win at 9 units and I was soooo close to get it. Thumbs up for seeing the value at 2.35.
