Real Madrid and Manchester City will square off in the Champions League semifinals, with the match starting from zero after a goalless draw in the first leg.

Even without Cristiano Ronaldo and with Benzema not 100% fit, Real Madrid was the better team in England and should have probably won that game. They didn`t and the 0-0 result on the road is a very dangerous one, considering they failed to score. However, Real will definitely be confident of winning at Santiago Bernabeu. Los Blancos are a different animal at home, playing much better than they do on the road. Real won 14 of the last 15 home matches, including the last 6 and all of them were by 2 or more goals. The hosts are on the back of a 1-0 win at Sociedad, keeping their title chances alive.

Manchester City is coming after a 2-4 defeat at the hands of Southampton, another unimpressive performance from them. Pellegrini did rest some players, but City needed the points in order to secure a Top 4 place, so they treated the game seriously. Fact is that despite claiming Ok results in the last few weeks, City is not playing too well and this was the case for the entire season.

Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to return and play in the starting lineup for Real, but Benzema is highly questionable and Casemiro is a doubt as well. Manchester City can`t count on David Silva, a big blow.

Manchester City showed in the first leg that they are a level below Real Madrid and I`m not sure they can surpass that status. Real dominated the game despite missing Ronaldo and playing on the road, where they are much weaker than at home, where they are beating everybody via handicap.

Real are obviously a better team, in good form, playing at home, so all these are primary arguments for them winning, but I also believe they will have a huge matchup advantage on the wings, with Ronaldo and Bale terrorizing Sagna and Clicy, who often looked vulnerable in the first match. If Ronaldo starts as expected and will be 100% fit as announced, I can see him having a huge impact and maybe get on the score sheet.

I can see Real Madrid booking qualification at Santiago Bernabeu with a more or less comfortable home win. My tip is Real Madrid to win and cover a 1 goal asian handicap.
