Sevilla hosts Villarreal in Europa League after winning in a surprising, but not so convincing manner, 3-1 away from home. I will share my general opinion about the teams first.
FC Sevilla is like a German team, only that they play in Spain. They are very well organized, have an incredible balance between defense and attack, have a very balanced squad where the substitutes are just as good as the starters, so they can always rotate the lineups if they want without suffering a handicap in quality. The coach is very smart and he created a very big confidence in their own strength. I believe Sevilla are the main favorites to win the competition, especially since they are slowly losing contact with Valencia (#4 spot in Spain) and so winning the EL remains their only chance of qualifying to the CL next year. As you know, from this year the winner of Europa League qualifies automatically to the group stages of next year’s CL.

Villarreal are also a very interesting side, but they are more simplistic. They do not have a great balance between attack and defense but their attack is o freaking brilliant that it does not matter. There is a big difference between the quality of the starters and the reserves and only 1-2 players from the bench are of the same quality. Very interesting, Villarreal prioritized this competition in favor of the league. They already given up on getting something from the league. If you can believe it, they rotated the lineup even in the away game vs Real Madrid (draw 1-1, an exception to what i said above, that the subs of Villarreal are not as good).
What do I expect from this game? Well i clearly do not expect another Sevilla win, because firstly, they do not need it and secondly, they are not that good. They are maybe just 5% better than Villarreal. I expect a balanced game and value is clearly on the away side.
