Stan Wawrinka and Marin Cilic will square off in what is set to be a very interesting quarterfinal clash at Roland Garros.

Marin Cilic has been flawless this week in Paris. Not only has the Croat won all his matches in straight (Gulbis, Kravchuk, F.Lopez, Anderson), but he hasn`t lost more than 3 games in a set so far! That`s an amazing statistic, even though he only had to play 10 sets (Anderson retired). Cilic has been painting the lines and hitting bombs all over the place, but now he will face a totally different level of opposition in Stan Wawrinka.

Both player are at the top of their game this week and both have solid serves, which can prolong sets to tiebreaks. The H2H matchup advantage (especially on clay) will probably get Wawrinka over the line, but it`s not like he blew Cilic off the court in previous meetings. The last time Wawrinka beat him clearly was 6 matches ago, back in 2012.
