Gladbach has not been shy with goals so far: they scored 28 times, no surprise if you see their attacking setup with Hrgota, Kruse and Luuk de Jong (even though the dutch is in bad form and failed to score this season, he is a fantastic player). Gladbach also conceded 16 goals. Some great young players with some in-form veterans make this team top-class in this Bundesliga season. Gladbach is without defenders Daems and Dominguez.

These are two of the most attacking sides in a very offensive league, so I find it hard not to anticipate goals in this clash. An auxiliary argument is that Stuttgart really needs to win this game, so they will try to score and they will leave wide open spaces for a deadly Borussia attack to exploit. I can see Stuttgart putting pressure and scoring (they are also excellent at set pieces – maybe the best in the Bundesliga), but the visitors will for sure find the net on counterattacks. Gladbach also has problems with injured players in defense so they will be exposed against the efficient and prolific duo of Maxim and Ibisevic, supported by Stuttgart’s wonderkid sensation Timo Werner.
