Tottenham for me are a weak weak team. They are naive in defence, overly reliant on Kane in attack. They have a strong point, and that is midfield. Eriksen, Chadli and Lamela are good players but they are not at the same level as the Chelsea midfield. In the first game played between these 2 teams Chelsea won 3-0, but that was because Romanian defender Chirichies was awful. Today he will probably not play. So Spurs will be “better”.

But still Chelsea are 2 times better. Also Tottenham performs badly in matches vs big teams, they were totally outplayed a few days ago in the first half vs United, they balanced the game in the second half but they still are not good enough, plain and simple. Also their defensive midfielders, Stambouli and Mason are a joke compared to Matic and Mikel.
I wrote about Chelsea in the past. I like and follow all of Mourinho’s teams. All of his teams are excellent at defending, at counterattacking, and scoring from set-pieces. But from all the teams Mou’ has coached, this 2014-2015 Chelsea team is the best. He has workers (Matic), poachers (Costa, Drogba, Remy), creative midfielders in abundance (Cesc, Oscar), he has the X-factor that Hazard brings to any team. This Chelsea is brilliant. I even think they could win the CL, but for this they need a little luck.
Getting back to the game today, i expect Chelsea to win 2-0 or 3-1. Chelsea to win is my bet, good odds on this prediction at Doxxbet. Happy New Year!
