Viktoria Plzen and FCSB will square off in the Champions League qualifying third round 2nd leg, after the two teams finished tied at 2-2 last week in Bucharest.
Viktoria Plzen could have escaped with a win in the first leg, as they played toe to toe with FCSB in Bucharest and led the game twice. Nevertheless, the 2-2 result was a good one for Plzen, especially as that was the first match of the season for them. Now Plzen have 2 games under their belt, having defeated Dukla Prague 4-0 in the first round of the Czech League last weekend.
Romanian vice champions FCSB are not looking that great in the start of this season, despite being undefeated in 4 matches in all competitions. FCSB started with two narrow, unimpressive wins against poor opposition in Romania, followed that up with the 2-2 draw against Plzen and was also held to a 1-1 draw by CSU Craiova over the weekend. The visitors have not played well so far and that will be their main concern coming into this match.

The hosts will miss Kozacik, Pilar and Hubnik, but they did not play in the first leg either.
FCSB will miss Budescu, who has been their best player so far this season and scored a cracker in the first leg, while their second best player, Alibec, is doubtful (he should at least feature from the bench though). The visitors might also be without Larie (one of the only two center backs in the squad) and Achim, who have apparently been banned by the owner – but that is still unclear.
Viktoria Plzen: Bolek – Limbersky, Reznik, Hajek, Havel – Zivulic, Hrosovsky – Petrzela, Kolar, Kopic – Krmencik
FCSB: Nita – Enache, Balasa, Momcilovici, Morais – Pintilii, Popescu – Teixeira, Tanase, De Amorim – Alibec (Gnohere)
Plzen has played two ties against Romanian opposition in the last 4 years, each time as favorites, and each time they drew away, but lost at home. That will be a reason for worry as far as the hosts are concerned.
However, FCSB seems to be a disorganized, chaotic side at the moment, with the owner taking every decision in the team. They have an inexperienced manager which has been hired as a puppet and is already being forced to alter his team selection. That is not good news when you play a team like Plzen which excels in discipline and tactical consistency. As such, winning in Czech Republic might be too much of a task for FCSB, especially as they did not prove to be superior even at home.
On the other hand, Plzen are far from being world beaters, and they don`t need to win in order to qualify. With the two teams being pretty evenly matched in terms of player for player quality, I could definitely see a draw here – but I want to back up that bet in case the hosts nick a victory.
My tip is a draw on the Plzen no win market. The bet is won in case of a draw and it is void in case Plzen wins. Prediction: Viktoria Plzen – FCSB 1-1.
