Villarreal and Levante are both in poor form right now and will hope to get out of the slump with a result in this one. The hosts however are the only team which really needs the points.

Villarreal will miss Dorado, while Paulista and Dos Santos are questionable. The latter will probably start on the bench, a big blow for Villarreal as he is their key man in offense. Levante won`t be able to count on first choice striker Barral, and playmaker Ivanschitz, while Sissoko, Navarro and Angel are doubtful.

I am surprised that Villarreal to win has odds as low as 1.45 in their current form against such an unpredictable team like Levante – especially given that Villarreal is not so strong at home, while Levante is very good on the road. However, I won’t touch the visitors either and I will go with the safer bet here, which is under 2,5 goals. Villarreal is struggling big time in front of goal right now, they have 6 unders in the last 7 games, while Levante is well known for their ability to close down opponents. Also, a number of key offensive players are missing for both sides. Two out of form teams, neither is looking able to create in front of goal right now. Levante will come here to play counter attacks but I doubt Villarreal will risk too much with their current form – they will be satisfied to keep a clean sheet and try to get the winning goal over the 90 minutes.
