Dinamo – Gaz Metan

Dinamo Bucharest will host Gaz Metan Medias on Friday night, in a key encounter regarding the race for the playoffs in the Romanian top league.

Dinamo is in the midst of their worst ever season right now, as the Red Dogs are sitting on the 9th place, just one point above the relegation zone. The start of the season was particularly dreadful for Dinamo, but the team recently shown some improvement under new manager Mircea Rednic. Gaz Metan has been one of the revelations of this season, with the small provincial club sitting on the 5th place in the standings. Mircea Rednic came as a savior at Dinamo last month, as the Red Dogs were in disarray and Rednic is a really good manager for the level of the Romanian League.

While Rednic`s record of 1 win and 3 draws in the 4 matches since he took over isn`t spectacular, it is still an improvement over Dinamo`s previous performances, and particularly on the defensive end a huge progress was noted.
