Fiorentina is a nice team, with a good coach and some nice skillful players. I really like how they play. They pass very well, have some good defenders that are usually reliable at their job but also come at corners and usually score. Gonzalo and Savic have 5 goals between them if i am not mistaken. But there is one fundamental problem with Fiorentina, they are not adapted to Italian football. In my opinion, Fiorentina is a team that can not defend very very well and makes some poor mistakes in games.
For example vs Empoli, the goal Empoli scored from a corner is ridicolous, there were 2 Empoli players and 7 Fiorentina players..And it is even more ridicolous if you think that Empoli has the most goals scored from set-pieces … so Montella should have been warned … but this is not the only mistake. I watched Cagliari vs. Fiorentina 0-4 and i want to say that it could have finished 5-7. Cagliari had almost just as many chances as la Viola had.

Roma come in a bad moment. They had a string of unconvincing performances, the last time they played their best football being the 4-2 win vs Inter. However i think this is just a phase, every great team has these moments (look at Chelsea during December). Roma is a cynical team, they know how to win 1-0/2-0, they have a very good defense and have kept many clean sheets this season.
I expect a balanced game, where Fiorentina might even dominate possession slightly, but even if Gervinho is out with Ivory Coast at the African Cup of Nations, Iturbe, Totti and Ljajic will be too much for the confused Fiorentina defense.

Totally agree with you. I also fancy an under 2,5,cuz as you already said it Roma knows how to defend, especially when playing away from home. They won one goal difference to nil in Udine, with Genoa and Empoli and they got a point from that goalless with Samp. Away giallorossi are an usually under team as we have seen them scoring more than one goal only 3 times this year @delleAlpi, Parma and Atalanta. Cheers!
