This one is for Tom Dumoulin to win the Prologue of Paris Nice tomorrow.
This prologue will be 6 kilometers long and not very technical. This means only very powerful riders like Dumoulin will have a chance to win. The Dutchman is the strongest in this kind of course and I think he should win.
Dumoulin is a time trial specialist. He said that his main objective this year is to win the Olympics Time Trial in Rio so he probably trained a lot this winter to improve.
Dumoulin is results in short TT's last year were great. He won the 5.1 prologue in Tour de Suisse against top competitors and finsihed 4th in Tour de France behind probably the 3 best time trialists in the world: Martin, Dennis and Cancellara.(none of them will be here) He also won longer TT's in Vuelta a Pais Vasco and Vuelta a Espana.
Dumoulin was not very good in Paris Nice prologue last year finishing 9th but his form was not very good back then. This year he showed great form in his first race Tour of Oman where he finished 3rd in the General Classification.
The competition for Dumoulin here is not amazing. Cancellara, Martin, Dennis, Malori and Kwiatkowski are all part of my top 6 riders on short TT's along Dumoulin but none of them are here.
