Fleche Wallone is a race that ends on Mur d'Huy. This climb is very under 1 kilometers long but it is extremely steep which is perfect for Martin skills.
Dan Martin improved on this climb every year. He finished 6th in 2012, 4th in 2013 and 2nd in 2014. He would've been really good in 2015 too but crashed.
Martin changed the team this year and this will most likely help him. Etixx is a better team with better training methods and better support than his older team Cannondale.
Martin showed great form in some races like Vuelta a Catalunya and Vualta Valenciana this year. He won a stage in both of them.
Main favorite of this race is last year winner Valverde. However he trained at high altitude because his main objective is Giro this year. This means that he might not be as explosive as he was last years.
