From my perspective, there is only one winner in this match. Leaving all unpredictability and upsets aside, this does not look like a clash that can go against the favorite.
Italy is a master of big tournaments, proved it against England with a very good tactical display. Italy`s midfield is top class, Prandelli fields 5 men there, they will own the pitch against Costa Rica.
Costa Rica had an amazing result against Uruguay, fair play to them, but let's stay realistic. Uruguay dominated the game, there were a couple of counters and Uruguay was very poor when defending long set pieces - so if one or two moments went different, we would be talking about Costa Rica as a beating horse in this Group today.
I won`t deny I`d like to see Costa Rica get a draw and knock out England (do not fancy them), but that won't happen. Considering Italy's consistency and desire to avoid a grueling match against Uruguay to decide qualification, I am betting on Italy to take care of the job and win clearly.
I think Sirigu will keep his place in goal, De Ceglie might get benched, otherwise it should be the best teams on the field for Italy and Costa Rica.
