Sports betting is still the fastest growing segment of the online gambling industry in some top markets like the UK and is still ruling the internet industry. However, the offline tendencies are a reason for worry. The growth on the online segment is also slower than in the past, as more people are starting to turn their their eyes to the roulette wheel or the slots.

It’s not hard to guess why casinos are seeing a superior growth to not only sports betting, but other forms of gambling as well (bingo, exchanges, etc.). There are so many new, shiny options and promotions every day. It’s easier for casinos to give them out, with the payout rate being much lower than in sportsbetting.

Casinos are constantly adding elements to their offer, something that it’s more difficult for sports betting to do – and something that was not happening until a few years ago. FC Voluntari and Dinamo Bucharest will square off in the Romania Liga 1 on Monday, 30 November 18:30 GMT and there is a massive opportunity for a sure bet / value bet or trading on this match, if taken early.

The bookies opened the odds yesterday evening, on 23rd November, with odds as high as 2.30 on the Red Dogs (Dinamo), generally an average of about 2.10. Most Sportsbooks didn`t even post odds yet, but clearly the ones which made that mistake yesterday had no idea about the circumstances. The average price is already down to 1.90 and still dropping fast.

The key here is that Dinamo Bucharest actually plays this match at home. Specifically, Voluntari is a newly promoted team who rented the Dinamo Stadium to play their home matches this year, as they do not have their own Arena. This team has no fans, so this is straight up a home match for Dinamo. The Red Dogs own the venue, play here every week since 60 years ago, there will be only Dinamo fans in the stands and even Dinamo’s ultras will stay in the same segment of the Stadium where they usually do. Training will go as usual, the only difference will be that Dinamo will probably use the visitors’ dressing room.

Earlier this season, with Dinamo Bucharest as official hosts, they had average odds of about 1.65 to win and got a comfortable 3-0 victory.

Additionally, the circumstances were favoring Voluntari back then – they were a newly promoted team with 3 draws in the first 4 matches, so a bit of an unknown, while Dinamo was coming after a horrible season and had brought in tons of players of questionable quality. Now, Dinamo is a legitimate Top 6 team and is coming after a huge 3-1 win against arch rivals Steaua, while Voluntari affirmed itself as one of the worst 2-3 teams in the league, by far.

I reckon the fair price here for a Dinamo win is about 1.50. Odds probably won`t go down that much, but they will surely drop big, I`m thinking at least towards a 1.65. Therefore, getting almost evens right now is a great opportunity for value betting, sure betting or trading. Currently, the best odds are 1.98 at 1xBet and you will surely not get any better than that.

It is too early to post a tip on the game, I will probably do it closer to match time, but I recommend a 10 unit bet as early as possible. Leaving aside the odds and value factor, Dinamo will very likely win this one, I`m thinking something like 2-0.
