New Orleans are 7-7 on the season, and look kind of inconsistent so far, especially on the road. They've struggled with some injuries but after getting Mirotic back last time out against the Wolves, they should have all the important pieces healthy for this one.
While they have struggled on the road, at home it's a different story, with NOP going 5-1 so far. The loss last time out against the Wolves was deserved as Minnesota executed well down the stretch and looked like a refreshed team after the Butler trade.
Still, Moore had 31 points on 13-23 shooting, Davis had 29 with Holiday and Mirotic also in double figures. NOP can certainly score the basketball and have a good enough rotation to not just have to rely on Davis.
The New York Knicks are about as good as they can be without Kristaps Porzingis. At 4-11 they're not the worst team in the league, but pretty close to it. You can't blame them too much however, as injuries have been a nuisance for them this season. Besides Porzingis they are also missing rotational pieces Lance Thomas and Courtney Lee.
The Knicks are averaging just 106.1 points per game while allowing 112.7, while the Pelicans are averaging 117 per game and allowing 115.8.
I just don't see the Knicks being able to cope with that firepower, so I see this game similar to the Knicks last one, where they were blown out by the Thunder in OKC, 103-128.
